This tool adds a visual signature image to the PDF. For legally binding e-signatures, you may need a service with audit trails like DocuSign or Adobe Sign.

Yes! The drawing canvas supports touch input on mobile and tablet devices.

What is the best image format for uploading a signature?

PNG with a transparent background gives the cleanest result. JPEG works too but will have a white background.

Can I sign only the last page?

Yes. By default the signature is added to the last page. You can also choose first page, all pages, or a specific page number.

Is my PDF sent to a server?

No. All signing happens in your browser using pdf-lib. Your file never leaves your device.
